6 inch EZ Vent - 3 pack

FEATURES:

• 3 piece modular design: two mating 3D printed frames thread together to hold a custom framed wire mesh which secures it to the drilled enclosure opening while providing a safe, clean appearance

• Designed to be used with thin wall totes/tubs/bins such as Sterilite, Container Store, like-it, etc. with wall thickness ranging from 0.031”-0.125” (1/32” - 1/8”) thick

• Printed in Black PETG filament which is stronger, more durable and heat resistant than commonly used PLA filament

• 1/8th clockwise turn of frame pieces to secure to enclosure without the need of any tools

• Alignment notches in frames allow for quick installation

• Hidden thread design provides a sleek, clean and safe appearance from both inside and outside of the enclosure

• No sharp exposed metal tabs

• Unused enclosures can still be stacked with EZ Vent installed

• Quality Stainless Steel wire mesh with aluminum frame that will not rust

• 14 mesh, .4mm diameter wire with .055in2 openings and 60% open area overall

• Note: The 3D printing design file will not be provided for the frames but available printing files of alignment jigs can be provided

  RECOMMENDED TOOLS:
  • Alignment Jig for the tub model being used to allow for repeated accurate drilling for a clean professional appearance
    • We are designing jigs for commonly used totes/tubs/bins. Please request jigs for tub models not currently available
  • Hole saw for the vent diameter used
  • Deburring tool to remove plastic shavings from drilling
  • If enlarging an existing drilled hole to accommodate EZ Vent, use the smaller hole saw as guide for larger hole saw. Ask us how!
